New shop Chaw Xiang Pork Leg opened in Tg Tokong: Longjiang style braised pork rice bowl, delicious!

It's the school holidays again! The girls had bowling practice at Penang Bowl today, and after training we had a good appetite for a good dinner. We decided to try this newly opened place at Prima Tanjong in Tanjong Tokong which Isaac and I had eaten at for lunch a few days ago and we found it to be pretty good! Chao Xiang or Chaw Xiang is located in the same row as Somkid Food Corner, the Thai food choo char we had made a video of earlier. They bring mainland Chinese cuisine to Penang, the famous Longjiang braised pork leg and also some Cantonese style roast meats. The first time I went there I had tried the pork intestines in soya sauce but unfortunately it was finished today, so I opted to try the roast pork and pork leg combo instead. The kids also loved the food, the rice was very fragrant Jasmine rice which went well with the dishes. Can try lah if you want something different for lunch or dinner! Open everyday 11am-9pm.
