About the Bruinettes: The Bruinettes is UCLA's first-ever collegiate danceline founded in 2022. Danceline is a style of dance that originated at Alcorn State University and is a cultural staple for historically Black Colleges and Universities. The Bruinettes was created by a group of students to honor HBCU culture and increase Black representation on campus. With their student board, as well as training and guidance from Spelman alumni Kayla Marie Jackson and Kalé Woods, the team has grown their presence tremendously and will continue to grow with the support of their fellow Bruins and audience. Thank you all who've supported the Bruinettes along the way! Please like, follow, and share the video to support the team and what they represent!
