My Northern Nights 2022 Experience

My first festival experience was incredible! I only live about an hour from where Northern Nights takes place, but I had somehow never heard about it before this year. The festival happens right in the middle of the redwoods and by the river at the Cook's Valley Campground near Piercy, California. I couldn't think of a better location, as the area provides plenty of room for multiple stages and camping areas. As for the music itself, there was so much variety in genres and mixing styles that I was always hearing something new throughout each day. I enjoyed pretty much every set, but my faves were probably CloZee, Smoakland, Wreckno, Equanimous, and Modern Biology. I already knew of a few of the names on the lineup but most were new for me and it was such a great opportunity to discover new music! I'll hopefully be back next year.
