1997 - 2001 Toyota Camry Outside Front Door Handle Won't Open Door ~ Genuine OEM Replacement Repair

In this repair video we will go over how to identify the cause for a failure of the front outside handle to open the door. We will perform this repair on the left hand side door (i.e., drivers side) but the right hand side is the mirror image of the steps with the same tools. Genuine Toyota part numbers for both sides are listed below. The car illustrated is a 2000 Toyota Camry CE, but this repair procedure and genuine Toyota part numbers will apply to all years 1997 thru 2001.
