Find our free Urban Mobility online courses on various topics here: https://urbanmobilitycourses.eu/ ----- Many cities in the Netherlands have long reflected on their bicycle network to encourage a modal shift from car to bicycle. Much attention from policymakers is devoted not only to improve infrastructure to offer people good bicycle facilities, but also to better sell their cycle projects. This time, the Academy WebTV travelled to the Netherlands to discover how Dutch cities are planning their cycling network and meet with several experts on the matter: Bas Braakman - Bicycle Policy Advisor for the City of Eindhoven -, Huub Ploegmakers - Researcher in the Department of Geography, Planning and Environment at the Radboud University -, and Jolanda Smit-van Oijen - Cycling Stimulation Expert at XTNT.
