With no feeding and 8-hour lighting, I documented the changes at each stage. The first day showed almost no change, but the algae steadily decreased from day 2 onward. By day 7, it was clearly reduced, with some left in hard-to-reach spots. I then sprayed the remaining algae with an algae remover, and 24 hours later the leaves were noticeably cleaner.
