3D-Printed Powder Check Die This is a fully 3D-printed powder check die for ammunition reloading. It verifies that every case holds the correct powder charge before bullet seating, helping to prevent dangerous squib (no/low charge) and double-charge loads. An inductive sensor checks the powder level inside the case, but the measurement is only triggered when a case is actually present: a switch detects the case and flips from normally open (NO) to normally closed (NC), enabling the reading. With no case in the station, no measurement takes place. When a case is present, the PNP normally-closed (NC) inductive sensor reads the charge. If the powder is at the correct height, the sensor switches to NO and the system stays silent — no alarm, no buzzer. If the case is empty/undercharged or double-charged, the sensor stays NC, the alarm is triggered and the buzzer sounds.
