"Falseta Fridays" with Pepe del Morao - "bulerias" de Manuel Morao

Welcome to the first "Falseta Fridays". A falseta is flamenco terminology for a guitar "lick" or phrase and every Friday I will be providing you with a new one. Since it's the very first Falseta Friday I thought I would treat everyone to one of my favorite guitarists, Pepe del Morao. Pepe is an extraordinary musician and even greater person. He's been blessed with the inheritance of such talent from the pillars of flamenco guitar that are his Grandfather, Manuel Morao & Uncle, Moraito Chico. This particular falseta is an original composition of his Grandfather and Pepe has honored it very much so in the execution of it for this recording by performing it as a bulerias falseta would have been played in the Golden Era of flamenco when his Grandfather accompanied the greatest "cantaores/as" (singers).
