Dreadbox Murmux, Norand Mono & Vocals | Winterdagen & The Yes Please

Just like last year, my good friend Rob (The Yes Please) and I got together in the days around Christmas to write a song together, of which we made this live video. Writing music together with Rob is always such a breeze, we just have this magical click. For this year's song, we started with a little demo Rob made in Arturia Pigments, which I rewrote for Dreadbox Murmux Adept, Norand Mono and a layer of simple Fors Pivot sine waves. We recorded one live layer of synths, a live layer of vocals and a live layer of acoustic guitar. Drums are a simple Fors Dyad patch. After recording the layers, I mixed the piece with a layer of Minimal Audio Evoke for the vocals, Valhalla FutureVerb and VintageVerb, Strymon El Capistan, Neural DSP Mantra for the vocals and the usual Fabfilter stuff.
