The Belarusian ruble (bel. Беларусски рубель) is the legal tender of Belarus. Coins in denominations of 1, 2, 5, 10, 20 and 50 kopecks, 1 and 2 rubles are in circulation. Since July 1, 2016, for the first time in the history of the Belarusian ruble, coins were introduced into circulation due to the denomination.
