Shoma UNO - Eclipse 宇野昌磨 | 凌ぐ

#Shomauno is the current and reigning #Japanesechampion, overtaking the title from Yuzuru Hanyu in the Japanese Figure Skating title. He is also the first skater who landed quadflip 4F in competition. He won Silver in #Pyeongchang2018 Olympic, right behind his countryman. The duo made quite a splash and inspired the entire Japanese Team by winning both Gold and Silver in one single event, first time ever for Japanese Team in the winter Olympic. But it can't be helped that the presence of Shoma is often over-shadowed by Yuzuru in this Hanyu Era of Figure Skating. Shoma had won mostly Silvers and Bronzes since his senior debut in season 2015/2016 for the Worlds and GPF Championships. He won 4CC Gold in season 2018/2019, his first major International Championship title. He had quite a rough season in 2019 / 2020, going through coaching change and all.
