Peavine - Iron King trail ride, Prescott Arizona

The Peavine and Iron King Trails are historic railroad lines converted into these amazing trails. One of the few Rails to Trails projects in Arizona with possibly some of the most astonishingly scenic views there are...period! The Peavine Trail takes you past beautiful Watson Lake then through a wonderland of giant boulders in Prescott's Granite Dells. Next, this journey takes you on the Iron King Trail through more breathtaking Granite Dells scenery. This out and back ride is a must for all level of riders. Point of Rocks RV Campground The Peavine trailhead is a short 10-minute ride from Point of Rocks Campground. From the Watson Lake south boat ramp, take the trail through Watson Woods until it pops up on the Peavine Trail. Hang a left to go down the Peavine and Iron King trails. Alternatively, hang a right if you need a bathroom. Got an RV? Stay at the uniquely beautiful Point of Rocks RV Campground. Next door to Watson Lake Park and situated in the midst of the giant boulders of Prescott's Granite Dells. Located just 5 mins from downtown Prescott's historic Whiskey Row.
