Hennessy Hammock winter camping in the polar vortex.

I am not by nature a winter hammock camping person. Some are and more power to them. That said I will do it and enjoy the fast setup plus ability to camp on less than level ground. I used a Hennessy Hammock Explorer DLX with Super Shelter system. An Equinox 10x12 sil nylon tarp on it's own adjustable ridgeline for a fly. Dowmat 7XS downmat provided extra protection from cold back. Chaga plus chert served as my fire kit. Ate both Hickory and Black walnuts gathered from last season. Drank hot Hemlock tea. The temps hit -1F with a wind chill of -15F.
