World's Lightest Solar Bike Camper (14.5 kg)
The ZolarCoffin (yes, it looks like a coffin...) is - as far as I know - the world's lightest bike camper (or sleeping pod) weighing just 14.5 kg with the 160 Wp semi-flexibel solar panel and approx. 12.5 kg without it. It is only 67cm wide but fits a comfortable mattress of 180x60x7cm. There is also a bit more headroom in front of the mattress. Having only one wheel helps to keep the weight down and to avoid pot holes (as the camper wheel follows the bike wheels). It also reduces rolling resistance - especially if riding on narrow country lanes where a normal two-wheeled trailer might have both trailer wheels driving through the grass.
