"Pick of the Day" - Carr Telstar

Here is a newer amp from Carr that we're really excited about! This one is actually pre-owned but is essentially untouched, as it stayed in a living room through its short life prior to coming through our doors. The Telstar is the latest release from Carr and is an absolute powerhouse of an amp despite its diminutive size and relatively low output power of 17w. This great little amp runs 12AX7, 12AT7, 6SL7 Octal, and both 6L6 and EL84 power tubes - you've got a lot of options here. Then you've got basic volume and tone controls with an all-tube reverb, and at the end of the chain is the excellent Carr power attenuator that you can dial all the way down from 17w to 0w! To top it off, this combo weighs in at just under 39lbs, making it a fantastic amp for both the studio and stage.
