The Yuntdağı Oil Wrestling Tournament, organized by Manisa Metropolitan Municipality and a significant stage of the CW Enerji Turkey Oil Wrestling League, concluded after three days of breathtaking competition. 1,262 wrestlers from all over Türkiye competed in the event, with Feyzullah Aktürk from Akhisar winning the title of chief wrestler. Held at the Ortaköy Wrestling Arena in Yunusemre district of Manisa between June 5-7, 2026, the Yuntdağı Oil Wrestling Tournament brought the excitement of this traditional sport to Manisa. Part of the 8-stage calendar of the CW Enerji Turkey Oil Wrestling League, the event witnessed intense competition over three days. Hundreds of wrestlers, from the youngest age groups to the chief wrestler level, competed, striving both to achieve a high ranking and to accumulate league points. Akhisar native Feyzullah Aktürk, who defeated his opponent Yusuf Can Zeybek in the final match, achieved a significant success on his way to the golden belt as the 2026 champion of the Yuntdağı Wrestling Arena. The final day of the wrestling matches, which saw thousands of citizens filling the stands, also attracted a large number of dignitaries. Manisa Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Besim Dutlulu, General Secretary Burak Deste, MASKİ General Manager Ali Kılıç, Yunusemre District Governor Celalettin Cantürk, district mayors, President of the Turkish Traditional Wrestling Federation İbrahim Türkiş, Manisa Yuntdağı Oil Wrestling Chief Hacı Serdar Sunma, and many other guests and citizens followed the matches. The competitions, held in various categories including the Grand Champion, Under-21, and Middleweight divisions, provided unforgettable moments for wrestling fans. The final matches, following the quarter-finals and semi-finals, were full of excitement, and the winning wrestlers received their medals and trophies at the awards ceremony.
