Sanibel sea shells. Two beaches, one fun day of exploring beaches and shelling techniques.

Sanibel sea shells are famous the world over but sometimes it's harder to find the "good stuff" than other times. I wanted to visit a new beach, so I checked out Tarpon Bay Beach (Tarpon Bay Beach, 111 Tarpon Bay Rd, Sanibel, FL 33957) which was much nicer than I expected! I wanted to check out this new beach to see if there was anything here that would compel me to go back. If the shelling was fantastic I might have chanced getting a ticket for overstaying my welcome but the shelling was just "meh" so I headed over to a beach I had good luck on a few days ago and a beach that I could park for as long as I wanted :) Bowman's Beach, Sanibel. Sanibel sea shells are so fun to hunt down. I came thiiiiiiis close to getting my giant horse conch but it wasn't meant to be. I'm going to have to keep hunting.
