And after a slow start, I got my first striper of the season (future 40 incher). RE: all the blood in the boat - first couple of fish, I fumbled around for my de-hooker for 30-40 seconds. And bluefish bleed a lot from the mouth as they thrash around. All of them disappeared in a flash as soon as they hit the water. And back at the marina, the boat got a thorough, high-pressure hose-down.
