SWFL Eagles ~ E9's Feather Fascination; Branching Higher Today 3.9.17

E9 is 68 days old and is increasing in strength, balance & coordination by branching and continuing to move higher out on the veranda today. These skills are necessary for E9 to be able to land safely in the trees after fledging. E9 sees a small white downy feather & is fascinated by it blowing in the breeze. The view up on the veranda is opening up a whole new world for E9. E9 branches out farther today & flaps successfully - returning to the nest and then hopping right back up! Thank you for watching!
