Özgür Özel’in Ödemiş ziyaretine damga vuran pankart!

CHP Group Chairman Özgür Özel visited the Ödemiş district as part of his İzmir program. He was accompanied by İzmir MPs and district mayors. After starting his visits to local businesses, Özel was frequently applauded by citizens, and many wanted to take photos with him. One citizen said, "I'm an İYİ Party supporter, I support Chairman Özgür," while another shouted, "Hope is here!" An elderly woman said, "I got up from my sickbed to come and say hello." Citizens frequently chanted slogans such as "Chairman Özgür" and "Free Turkey, free future." "ABSOLUTE NULLITY WILL MELT AWAY LIKE SNOW" The crowd gathered behind Özel sang the Youth March, accompanying him, while citizens in the apartment buildings also showed their support with applause. A tradesman greeted Özel with a banner that read, "Absolute nullity will melt away like the snow we brought from the 2157-meter-high Bozdağ Summit." Before addressing the crowd, Özel was presented with a cap and a local shawl. Özel's speech was frequently interrupted by chants of "Stand tall, don't bow down, Ödemiş is with you!" Speaking from atop a tractor trailer, Özel stated: "In recent days, there have been questions about whether there will be a new party. We are in our party, but we are in the midst of a new movement, a new approach. We are in the midst of a new politics, a founding politics, a politics marching towards power. We are heralding a new politics that will not allow anyone to oppress you. We have no intention of separating, dividing, or leaving anyone behind. What we leave behind are personal ambitions, personal stubbornness, and passions." Saying "I want to be the one" is an act of stubbornness that causes Turkey to lose.
