Off the coast of Hinomisaki in Izumo City, Shimane Prefecture, there are underwater ruins packed with mysterious structures that don't look natural, such as stepped formations carved into the rock, tunnels, and rocks that appear to be prayer platforms, making it a popular diving spot for many divers. Directly north of Hinomisaki Lighthouse, in the area from Fumishima to Bonkui, it is said to be an ancient structure resting in the mythical land of Izumo.
