Printing Howard’s Holiday Card
Letterpress printing is certainly a process! In this video, Howard discusses and prints his personal holiday card using our Chandler & Price jobbing press that was manufactured in Cleveland, Ohio in 1902. In this video, which was filmed in segments, Howard discusses how this holiday card could be printed in one press run, he demonstrates inking the press, and also operating the press. While these cards are for family, Howard wanted to share a glimpse into how he has prepared cards for over 20 years at the Sacramento History Museum. • • • #holidaycard #christmascard #museum #museumlife #jobbing #jobbingpress #howardtheprinter #californiahistory #printingpress #printing #letterpress #asmr #oddlysatisfying #sosatisfying #vanson #tiktok #sacramento #sacramentoproud #visitsacramento #oldsacramento #oldsac #oldsacramentowaterfront #hereinsac #sachistorymuseum
