Companies nationwide become "job placers," supporting employment, housing, and educational opportunities, thereby encouraging many people to try again. The new "imprisonment sentence" introduced in June 2025 through the amendment of the Penal Code represents a major turning point, emphasizing support tailored to the individual characteristics of each person. Now, society is being asked anew "how to accept and support those who are reintegrating into society." This event will welcome Takeshi Okada and Masayo Imura, who have led the Japanese sports world and nurtured many athletes, to discuss with you the essential perspectives, support methods, and ways of involvement necessary for fostering personal growth. We will utilize this in the Job Mentor Project and use it as an opportunity to re-examine, together with the general public, the kind of society that supports second chances. ---------------------------------- [Date and Time] Thursday, March 5, 2026 [Location] Main Conference Room, 2nd Floor, Nippon Foundation Building [Organizer] Nippon Foundation
