Zero point CNC WORKHOLDING on a $500 budget! Hoffmann positioning clamping pin system for my Syil X7

When cnc machining is a side hassle, sometimes it can be lucrative to do some job shop work. It is one of the reasons I bought my Syil X7 expoxy granite mill. The timing of these jobs seems always off and it puts you under a lot of stress. Zero Point workholding systems reduce setup time and offer more flexibility. They range from hydrolic, pnumatic or mechanical. The pricing varies also from 500$ to 100k+ erowa pallet systems. I chose for the Hoffmann mechanical system because their sales representative recommended it and it seemed to work for my needs. https://www.hoffmann-group.com/NL/nl/... it's not the fastest, its not the most precise, but I really like it.
