Magical journey with SDS HANSTEEN August 2018 | CaptainsVoyage

Back in August of 2018, I was extremely privileged to serve as Commanding Captain of the world's oldest & only operating sail steam ship, SSS HANSTEEN. The long overdue and highly anticipated magical journey departed from Trondheim, and over three days stopped at ports such as Tautra, Steinkjer, Jørstadsjøkaia at Ytterøy, Mosvika, Kjerknesvågen, Mosvika, Leksvika and returned back to Trondheim on the third day. These are some of my images and video-clips from that voyage. I have opted to keep all original sounds and to avoid adding any kind of music: the sounds of this video is so much a part of the magical experience sailing with such an honorable vessel and with such a dedicated and incredible crew.
