Does the UK have a constitution? I’m going to break down what we mean when we talk about a constitution, how ‘constitution’ might not actually mean what you think it does, and then explain how, despite not having a book called “the constitution”, we can still talk about the British Constitution. Key topics covered include: the definition of a constitution, finding laws unconstitutional, the separation of powers, federalism, and human rights. This video will be of interest to anybody studying law, or anybody wanting to learn more about the UK constitution. #law #lawdegree #legaleducation #lawschool #constitutionallaw #UKconstitutionallaw #publiclaw #alevelpolitics Suggested Further Reading Elliott and Thomas, Public Law (5th ed, OUP 2024) Part II: https://www.oxfordlawtrove.com/displa...
