In the village of Sarichashma, out of 23 villages under the village jamoat, 13 are located near the cliffs. Pistamazor is one of these villages. Life near the cliffs is difficult for these villagers, they say. The threat of landslides has caused many difficulties for these ancient village residents. However, the residents live in such conditions and look to the future with hope. They love life. They continue the ancient crafts, the legacy of their ancestors, such as weaving, blacksmithing and other folk crafts. Today, they have seen and tasted the yellow watermelon that their ancestors used to tell. This program was prepared with the help of the American people, provided through the United States Agency for International Development, and was prepared in four parts of the MediaCAMP project, which is implemented by Internews with financial support from USAID.
