With no sax we've brought the two guitars out for a gallop in a sax styled way! A nice chance to solo for Dan and Matt gives us a pretty cool tune with a great beat and minimal lyrics! No forgotten words here! Enjoy :) Here's some history....Tequila is a 1958 Latin-inspired surf instrumental song written by Chuck Rio and recorded by American rock and roll band The Champs. Tequila became a No. 1 hit on both the pop and R&B charts at the time of its release and continues to be strongly referenced in pop culture to this day. In 1958, the song won a Grammy for Best Rhythm & Blues Performance at the 1st Annual Grammy Awards. In 2001, that song was inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame. Rumpus Machine is a sibling rock band playing live classic rock music and original songs! We are brothers and sisters from Auckland in New Zealand. We like to learn and perform new songs together and play modern music and classic rock songs. We also write our own original songs too and publish to Spotify & Apple Music etc. We like to play live if we can - but also enjoying sharing our music online.
