Throwing New Vases from Coarse Clay & Iron Fillings

In this Sunday's video I'm doing a few more new clay tests from the bodies Potclays sent to me. I'm blending the more textured stonewares down with my usual clay and incorporating a few big pinches of iron spangles, made from hammering iron, which should create some rather dramatic speckles on the surfaces of the vases. I'll show you how I mix and wedge the clays, incorporate the iron and then I'll demonstrate how I throw and trim these two vases. Glazing and firing to come soon! Thanks for watching!
