Last month’s liquid rollout from Mel C was the perfect Summer mode switch up, so we move into July’s RAMLive with the latest member of the RAM Records family: Skantia The 22-year-old, who graduated from sister label ProgRAM after just one release, has already made his mark on 2019 with debut single Cluster and his scene stealing Bassline Secret remix, which has been battered by some of drum & bass’s biggest and best, including Andy C and Chase & Status. Before becoming a producer Skantia cut his teeth as DJ, becoming resident at Dilate in his hometown of Newcastle. Using production to boost his sets, for his RAMLive you can expect to hear a few of his own tracks in the mix and with a penchant for the more stripped back, roller sound of drum & bass it’ll get deep, dark and murky with some serious vibes thrown in for good measure. One of the most exciting emerging talents in the scene, Skantia is sure to deliver some serious sounds for your Monday night.
