Marche Walking Tour Hello Dear Friends👋, welcome to this new video. Today we're going to walk the streets of Urbino, a beautiful Italian city of 13.767 inhabitants in the Marche region. Urbino was one of the most important centers of the Italian Renaissance, whose architectural legacy it still preserves. The city is located on a steep hill from the top of which you can admire one of the most famous architectural pieces of the city (and perhaps of the entire Italian Renaissance), the Palazzo Ducale. In Urbino, in addition to the Ducal Palace, there are several monuments and places of interest, such as the Cathedral (by the architect Valadier) and the house where the painter Raffaello Sanzio was born (just to name a few), so much so that since 1998 the historic center of this city has become a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
