William Katt says that he’s turned many of life’s detours into highways. He was a prom date to Carrie thanks to Brian De Palma; he almost had a home on Tatooine by way of George Lucas, and Katt rode the wild surf with Gary Busey and Jan-Michael Vincent on a Big Wednesday; he even partnered with Butch Cassidy in a few gunfights and was a costumed superhero in search of an instruction manual.
