Summer vacation in Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis in Tyrol: The best attractions, hikes, and activities in this family-friendly region. I spent two days in Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis in August. Two days packed with activities and experiences. Have you ever been to Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis? Perhaps for mountain biking or skiing? And what did you think? It all started with a thrilling ride on the Skyswing. This is a giant looping swing in the Fiss Summer Funpark at the Möseralm. The yellow contraption even stops at the highest point. Then I'm hanging upside down, wondering what I've gotten myself into. Afterwards, I headed to Lake Högsee to relax. The reservoir has been transformed into a bathing paradise. Sun loungers and hammocks are available. Pedal boats cruise along the water, and some guests are even swimming laps in the cool water. We, on the other hand, hike a loop around the lake and then head towards the Zwölferkopf summit. Up there, not only does a view await us that stretches all the way to Germany, Italy, and Switzerland, but also the Crystal Cube. And that's where we're booked for a luxury lunch. Inside the glass cube, where you can also have a civil wedding ceremony, the tables are already set. A four-course meal awaits us. My starter is beef tartare with curry and avocado. This is followed by a Jerusalem artichoke soup with rye and chives, and for the main course, I'm served Mangalica pork cheeks with various types of corn. After dessert, which consists of milk, honey, and pollen, there's even a delicious chocolate fondue. After all, I'm a well-known chocolate lover. Next on the agenda is a mountain biking course at the Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis Bike Park. As a beginner and a bit of a scaredy-cat, I'm still a little unsure of myself. The guide gave me some helpful tips, and I actually managed to complete the descent on the blue trail by the forest lift without falling or even having to push my bike. Not bad at all for me. And believe me, if I can do it, you can definitely do it by now. We ended up soaring high. We took a bird's-eye view of Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis. A tandem paragliding flight gave us a completely different perspective of the surroundings. It was an incredible feeling, and it intensified at the end. The tandem pilot even performed some aerobatic maneuvers, giving me a real good shaking. All in all, it was a fantastic time here, the weather was perfect, and I experienced so much.
