Which is better 4k v 1080? A video comparison of Panasonic DMC-FZ1000, DMC-G6 and HDC-SD900 cameras.

This is a quick test comparing three Panasonic video recorders. I had just bought the Panasonic DMC-FZ1000 and wondered how it compared to the HDC-SD900 and the DMC-G6 that I already use. The main question I had was whether resizing 4K 100Mbps video to 1920x1080 would show any improvement over the standard 1080p 28Mbps. Also how would these compare to the detail obtained by the 3-mos sensor used in the SD900. The FZ1000 has variable inteli-zoom which can increase the maximum zoom of 592mm up to 1184mm so I wondered how would this compare to using the ETC mode on the G6 which uses a cropped area of the sensor to increase the magnification by 2.4. These are test videos so I could see for myself how these cameras compared but I thought I would share the results. Sorry there is no sound I was mainly interested in the picture quality. All three cameras were on their default settings with auto white balance. The church shots were filmed from the same position, first in wide-angle and then zoomed in. Please note that these shots display signs of heat haze. Only the 4K was 25fps the rest were 50fps.
