RealCornwall.tv Curious Cornwall - The Witch of Helston
For centuries, the cunning folk, the white witches or Pellars of Cornwall were widely consulted and provided a range of services, from lifting curses and undoing the Maleficia of witches, to offering cures, charms, and divination. Widely celebrated for her skills throughout the Duchy, Tammy Blee's reputation as one of the most gifted of 'wise woman' ensured a steady stream of visitors, to her home in Helston. Today, her last resting place is unmarked and forgotten. -- Written and filmed by Emlyn Glanmôr Harris, the film previewed at the 2010 Cornish Film Festival and is also available to view on the RealCornwall.tv History Channel: www.RealCornwall.tv
