What Sadhguru Says About the Fear of Sadhana

We recently had the honour of meeting Sadhguru at the Isha Yoga Center. It was truly beautiful to witness the profound shift and inspiration that he has brought into the lives of so many young people when it comes to the path of Sadhana. Yet, something I have often wondered about is the fear that sometimes arises with Sadhana. When one steps onto this path, there is always a sense of the unknown, you never quite know what lies ahead. This fear of the unknown, the fear of transformation, sometimes becomes the very thing that holds a sadhak back from evolving and growing. I have always wondered what Sadhguru’s perspective would be on this on fear, on sacred days and tithis, and on the powerful influence of Shakti, Bhairava, and Shiva, whose sadhanas can sometimes evoke both reverence and fear within a seeker. We hope this conversation brings a little more understanding and depth, dissolving unnecessary fear and helping seekers walk the path of Shankara with greater clarity.
