Thierry Paquot : "C'est le bien-être en ville qui importe aux citoyens"

“What is a human-scale city?” This was the theme of the conference in which Thierry Paquot, philosopher and professor emeritus at the Paris Institute of Urban Planning, participated in Le Monde on December 16, 2021. While cities with 20,000 to 100,000 inhabitants seem to represent a new El Dorado, the reality of population movements is explained more by the economic dynamism of the regions than by the mere presence of green spaces or active transportation.
