There are plenty of videos about the non-touristic side of Mali on the internet( from documentaries, YouTube vlogs, etc…) but not enough of the beauty of the Malian culture, landscape, traditions, etc…Whenever I meet someone new, the first thing they ask me about after they find out I’m from Mali is the war situation and the problematic side of Mali in general. The sad reality of Mali is indeed true but that’s not what I wanted to showcase in this episode. The purpose of making this video was to show how beautiful Mali is. Most of the time, the media don’t put that forward for the world to see.
