6 Months Living on a Sailboat... And Nothing Went to Plan

Six months ago, we bought a sailboat in Australia thinking life was about to become one big adventure. And at first it kind of was. We spent our weekends sailing around the Whitsundays, exploring remote islands, learning how to spearfish, living off-grid, and slowly falling in love with a completely different way of life. But sailboat life turned out to be very different from what we imagined. Over the last six months we've dealt with storms, boat repairs, electrical problems, unexpected costs, weeks living in a boatyard, and more setbacks than we ever expected. Yet somehow, despite all of that, this lifestyle still changed us completely. In this video we're looking back on the highs, the lows, the mistakes, the adventures, and the moments that made every challenge feel worth it. If you've ever dreamed about living on a sailboat, travelling full-time, or escaping normal life, this is the honest reality of what our first six months have really looked like. ⛵ Subscribe and follow our journey aboard Soluna as we learn how to live more simply from the ocean. #Sailing #SailboatLife #Liveaboard #OffGridLiving #Whitsundays
