This is the second part of a casual, but highly satisfying, city walk. In this video, we visit Shinagawaura, a famous spot that evokes a sense of travel, with coastal scenery dating back to the Edo period and adjacent to the skyscrapers in front of Shinagawa Station, and the Shinagawa Post Town on the Tokaido. It's home to surprising floating shacks. After seeing the boat dock, we enjoy a bowl of rich crab and pork bone ramen at a food stall run by a pleasure boat operator called Kaniryu. However, large-scale redevelopment is expected to take place across almost the entire area surrounding Shinagawaura. When this project is implemented, the scenic Shinagawaura will likely be razed to the ground, transformed into a forest of high-rise apartment buildings, a sight you'll see anywhere.
