The Best Restaurant in Albania in World Heritage City of A Thousand Windows: Berat

Berat is yet another Unesco World Heritage site in off the beaten path, Alabania, and it was our favorite Albanian city. This week, we eat at the best restaurant in Albania. Lili and his homemade restaurant in the center of beautiful Berat is a culinary experience. Not only was the food some of the very best we had in the country, Lili himself was a treasure. He and his wife have created the most lovely garden restaurant that is loved by all who stumble upon it. Berat's castle is one of the most intact castle towns we have ever visited, and the ethnographic museum is hailed as one of the best in Albania.
