DARK SOULS™: REMASTERED - Playthrough - 1440p60 - Part 1/2

The first Dark Souls was my first souls game ever, many years ago. Oddly enough, for the longest time I've always considered this to be the worst Dark Souls game of the trilogy, by far margin. I didn't like the weird framerate related issues the "Prepare to Die" version of the game had, didn't like how the rolling felt with the limited axis, and a million other things. My Personal Ranking was always DS3,,, DS2,,,,,, DS1. For all the grievances that people online had about DS2, I had two for DS1, but I think it's kind of grown on me. This playthrough and the multiple NG+ Cycles that ensued after it were actually kind of fun, and I think now I'd probably rate it atleast slightly above DS2. That said, I still struggled quite a bit, and especially some areas and one boss fight in the second part made me rage pretty hard, to the point where I used an offline summon because I was getting frustrated. I've never really been a fan of FromSoft's approach to fights that have multiple enemies that have AIs that are independant of each other, since they tend to just strike through each other and it becomes a massive headache if you aren't too familiar with their movesets trying to figure out if its safe to attack or not. Overall, I enjoyed it quite a bit. I got more familiar with the areas and could now, after not playing for months (this recording is like 6 months old at this point by the way lmao), navigate to any given area on foot without the warp, which I'm pretty proud of. I'm glad I decided to go against my original notion of "there's no point, I'll just get bored in one of the early game areas, die a few times, and then stop playing" and pulled through to the end. I highly doubt I'll ever upload a DS2 Playthrough at this point. I don't find it particularily fun or interesting, and quite a few areas feel like they drag on for ages if you spend time exploring them. Then again, I might flip flop my mind on this in 3 months, make a playthrough and then upload it in like a year. I actually just checked my channel in Studio and I somehow have a Dark Souls 3 playthrough, wow!    • Dark Souls 3 Full Playthrough   It's actually a collection of 7 livestreams in a playlist, the first three (less than 5 hours total) being the main game and 5 plus 6 being the DLC. I'm not going to rewatch them right now for sake of making this description more comprehensive, but I guess I must have been rushing pretty hard?? Insane stuff. Anyway, since I don't remember too many minute details about THIS playthrough I'll just have this as the description for both videos, so they'll be identical.
