Perché sott’acqua puoi perdere L'ORIENTAMENTO - SUB H2O
Why can you lose your bearings underwater? On land, the brain uses constant references: the floor, the horizon, gravity, vision, the inner ear, and body position. Underwater, however, many of these signals change. Some become weaker, others ambiguous, and some may even contradict each other. In this video, we see why, under certain conditions, a diver may not immediately understand where the bottom is, where the surface is, or which direction to follow. We're talking about disorientation, vertigo, the vestibular system, visual references, open blue, night diving, walls, wrecks, and alternobaric vertigo. It's not panic. It's not necessarily inexperience. It's the body trying to orient itself in an environment for which it wasn't designed. ⚠️ This video is for educational purposes only and does not replace the advice of a doctor specializing in underwater medicine or an ENT specialist, especially if dizziness or disorientation is frequent, intense, or associated with pain. 📌 Full course • Perché sott’acqua vediamo tutto diverso? -... #scubadiving #diving #scubadiving #physiologyofdiving #SubH2O ──────────────────── Sub H2O is an educational project dedicated to the underwater world. I use scuba diving to explain what happens to the human body when the environment changes: pressure, breathing, gases, cold, mental clarity, equipment, and safety. This is not a technical diving channel, nor a substitute for training with qualified instructors. It's a space to better understand the sea, diving, and how the body adapts underwater. If you're interested in scuba diving, physiology, nature, and stories from the underwater world, subscribe to the channel.
