Dreamland Margate | 1960's Recreation

This is as I remember Dreamland Margate back in the 60's. With such Iconic rides as the River Caves, Sky Wheels, Ghost Train, Whirl a Boats, Miniature Railway, The Roller Coaster, Paratroopers, Dive Bomber, Rock n Roll Topsy Turvy House, Queen Mary Ship, Firework Seating Area, The Alice In Wonderland Ride, The Magic Gardens, Dodgems, Buffet Building, and so much more I've re-created using maps, old photographs and how I saw it in my minds eye, and then tried to put it all together. Like my other parks this is by no means to scale, however it should bear a striking similarity for anyone that remembers this far back, so hopefully this should give some sort of idea of the atmosphere and feel of the park, aside from that you'd have to travel right back to the past to experience it fully. I have started off with a retro Black and White feel to the park and then start the tour outside the park from the old Eaton Road Entrance which is now closed off to the public. There is both day and night time scenes of all the rides and attractions. It's taken me some while to put all of this together. I do hope you enjoy the park. Geoff Dean.
