Mastering Canteen Cup Cooking: Hearty Roast Beef and Rice for Cold Days

Welcome back to the channel! Today in the “Mastering the Canteen Cup Cooking” series, we’re making one of my winter favorites: Roast Beef and Rice. This hearty meal will fill you up and keep you warm on a cold winter night. We’ll start by using beef bouillon to season the rice as it cooks, enhancing the flavor. Once the rice is ready, we’ll add canned roast beef with gravy. I prefer the Hereford brand for its large chunks of real roast beef in thick gravy—it’s the perfect combo for this dish. Next, we’ll combine everything and discuss how to regulate heat to prevent burning. Feel free to spice it up with Tabasco or other peppers.
