"Queens" - Somerset Sky Pointe Theater

March 5, 2026 - Our younger players get a moment in the limelight! QUEENS is a historical stage play centered on King Henry VIII and his six wives — Catherine of Aragon, Anne Boleyn, Jane Seymour, Anne of Cleves, Katherine Howard, and Catherine Parr. The play follows Henry VIII trapped in purgatory, forced to relive his entire life and the actions that — sometimes fatally — disrupted the lives of his six queens. The story is framed around his relentless pursuit of a male heir to the Tudor throne. The production features Henry depicted at multiple stages of his life — young, middle-aged, old, and "trapped" — giving the audience a full arc of his character as each wife's story unfolds. Filmed on location in the court of classroom 607 There was no great place to set up for the videography as the show was playing to a packed house. I'm sorry for the extreme angles and the occasional cropped head. We did we could with the circumstances. Please don't let it take away from your enjoyment of this performance.
