New Jeans ultimately lost the lawsuit between Adore and New Jeans, which began in November of last year when the company announced the termination of its exclusive contract with Adore. The 41st Civil Division of the Seoul Central District Court ruled that the exclusive contract between Adore and New Jeans was valid. New Jeans argued that the dismissal of former CEO Min Hee-jin constituted a breach of the exclusive contract and that the breakdown in trust was grounds for termination, but the court rejected this argument. Min Hee-jin, a former producer at New Jeans and former head of the agency Adore, established an entertainment agency approximately 11 months after leaving the company. The company, called "OK," was registered as a celebrity management agency on the 16th, with Min Hee-jin as its sole executive director.
