Though this meet may not have gone exactly the way she had hoped, she did what she set out to do: get through her first level 9 meet. A few hours after the meet she told me she was excited for her next meet. I asked her why and she said because she wanted to get back up on the beam and land her series. I'd like to take a moment to say how proud I am of Annie. I think she's doing a great job balancing everything she has going on in her life and always pushing through even when things aren't easy.
