Why do Chinese students have higher test scores than Americans?
Every three years, the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) conducts an assessment of education systems worldwide by testing the skills and knowledge of 15-year-old students in science, reading and mathematics. There are also sections in collaborative problem solving and financial literacy. CGTN’s Han Peng looked into why test scores tend to be higher in China than the United States.
