Not Your Mothers "Smooth Moves" I learned about this product from Kelly Wood so part of this description is copy from her instructions: it can be used anytime on regular synthetic or heat friendly wigs and bio hair too. I use it when I want to just quick lather, rinse and out the door. NOT YOUR MOTHER'S Smooth Moves Anti-Frizz Lamellar Water Hair Rinse This is a quick-rinse product that softens and instantly detangles, de-frizzes. It is Berry vanilla-scented. I put this product in a spray bottle so that I can distribute it more evenly throughout the fibers. I recommend using on a wig that is already wet (then you seem to use a little bit less product and it's easier to rinse out 🙄) of course I learned that the hard way 🤣 Spray the Smooth Moves Lamellar Water Rinse directly to fibers (or hair) & squeeze into a light lather, (I let mine sit a few minutes, but you don't have to) then rinse out very well. For my synthetic wigs this product leaves the fibers smelling nice, & feeling smooth & silky again. Worked well as a quick 1 step product...great for travel & after swimming. You can apply conditioner as a last step but I did not feel that was necessary. I think this is a good product simply to use as a quick way to refresh & detangle our synthetic wigs. (This is not a leave in conditioner & this product does not repair the frizzy, split, damaged, crinkled or dry ends from friction...you still need to do a heat repair for that!) see my other videos how to do that. Also, I wear a Jon Renau black bamboo wig liner (model name is Softie) under my wigs for several various reasons. It keeps my buzz that holds like Velcro from pulling wig hairs to the inside of the cap. In the spring summer and fall, I keep it wet in the refrigerator to keep me cooler under my wigs. I'm not concerned about it with most of my Wigs, but it helps camouflage the dark wefting of the majority of my wigs from showing if there were a strong wind, and somebody was actually looking at the back of my head😉
